Who am I?
Hi. My name is Fiza Shaikh or, as my tagline states, your local space enthusiast.
I'm an Indian-American girl living in the DC area with A LOT of goals and aspirations. I'm not allowing myself to be held back by the fact that I'm 17 years old and I suggest you don't let your age do the same to you.
I do lots of volunteer work and philanthropy to give back to the communities which give so much to me. I also LOVE learning and school. Don't get me wrong though; My life isn't 100% school and volunteer work. I have SO many hobbies and interests. That is where this blog comes in. I'm going to use this platform to explore my hobbies and interests and see where they take me.

Fiza Shaikh
A multi-skilled individual hailing from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds manifesting her surroundings into her work. Graduating from High School in June 2019 with Honors, she plans to further her education with a major in Physics and/or Computer Science, working her way up to a doctoral degree. In the future, she wants to conduct research on the Higgs-Boson and Neutrinos. She also wants to study the ideas of Quantum field theory in relation to condensed matter physics. Additionally, she wants to one day work in the development and understanding of AI technology. She has an overwhelming passion to advance the world through science and technology.
In addition, she wants to change the world on a more humble level. She loves volunteering and helping the communities which benefitted her in addition to her family. One of the main goals in her life is to see women across the world have full access to their opportunities and be unlimited in their potential. Including both international and local communities, she works toward a better future for herself and her peers. This goal drives her mindset and actions.
Fiza loves books, movies, music, art, literature and etc. Her interests are numerous and varied. She is grateful for so many available opportunities and is sure to take advantage of as many as she can. She lives life with the goal to make every second count.
